Raised in the heart of Orange County, CA, Laura dreamed of being a performer since sometime before she can remember. As a young girl, Laura had dreamed of becoming a ballerina, and in her early teen years, she discovered that there was huge world in addition to dance that she would grow to love.... The world of Musical Theater as a whole.
She started out her theatrical experiences performing with the Buena Park Youth Theater, and was also involved in Tri-School Theater, a theatrical program that was composed of 3
different local high schools. Throughout the years, Laura has studied voice, dance and acting,
and has appeared in over fifty full length theatrical productions, as well as numerous choral, and variety shows.
In addition to her work on-stage, Laura can often be found dabbling in other creative fields
such as jewelry design. She enjoys helping create beautiful one of a kind jewelry for her mother's company Duetta Designs (see their work HERE), as well as pursuing her interest in Sewing/Costume design.
Laura has portrayed such diverse roles on the stage as "Sarah Brown" in Guys & Dolls, the "Baker's Wife" in Into the Woods, "Janet Weiss" in The Rocky Horror Show, "Sr. Mary Leo" in Nunsense, "Winnie Tate" in Annie Get Your Gun, the "Beladova" in Phantom, "Jeanie MacLaren" in Brigadoon, "Virtue" in Anything Goes, and all three roles of "Laurey", "Ado Annie" and "Gertie" in OKLAHOMA.
